Creating Email file and Sending to eBowl.biz

 

1. If you have not already done so, you need to set up eBowl.biz as a Fulfillment Vendor. To begin this process, you will need to click on Setup>Fulfillment Vendors from the top menu bar.

 

 

2. The Set Up Fulfillment Vendors screen will appear. If you have you have already set up eBowl as a vendor then all you will need to do is click on the Close button. If eBowl is not set up as a vendor, click on the Add button. Then type eBowl in the name area, and make the entries look as they do in the below example and then click on the Close button.

 

 

3. In order to generate a list of people with email addresses that can be forwarded to eBowl.biz you must first create a Marketing Plan that uses Email as the mode of communication. To begin the process choose Mktg Plans from the menu.

4. Once you have done that the following screen will appear, click on the Add button.

 

 

5. The following screen will appear, type eBowl in the Other field, choose a Plan end date and click on the Target Groups tab.

 

 

6. Click the Add button at the bottom of the Add Marketing Plan screen.

 

 

then click the Yes button when the following screen appears.

 

 

7. The Add Target Group screen will appear.

 

 

8. In the Description field type EBowl, leave the Target as People and the Selection criteria as All People, then click the Binoculars icon to the right of the Email field. If you do not want to email to All People, click the Edit button to modify Target. For this process we will leave the Selection criteria as All People.

 

 

9. The Set Up Emails screen will appear; you will need to click on the Add button,

 

 

and the screen will appear as below.

 

 

10. Type eBowl in the Description field and click the Use Default button. The screen will appear as below. Then click the Select button.

 

 

 

11. You will be taken back to the Add Target Group Screen, click the OK Button.

 

 

12. Once the process has completed the Add Marketing Screen will look like the screen shot below, click on the Save button, and click on the Close button on the View Marketing Plan screen when it appears.

 

 

13. Choose Email from the Tasks drop down menu.

 

 

14. Once the Emails to be Sent screen appears choose eBowl from the Type of email drop down box.

 

 

 

15. Now click the Send to Vendor button on the now populated Emails to be Sent screen.

 

 

16. Choose EBowl from the Send to Drop down list, and the Send Data to Vendor screen appears set up like the screen below. In the Send as, via area you can decide to let Bowler TRAC just create the file and you can manually attach the file to an email to support@ebowl.biz - use this option if you access your email through a web site instead of Outlook, Outlook Express, or some other email client. If you use one of the email clients, choose the first option and once the file is created Bowler TRAC will open whatever your default email client and create an email with the address and body of the email already constructed. You will need to un-check both squares in the First Name area, and add a check to the Birthday/Age area - but make sure and ONLY choose the Include column. You will also need to delete the reference to eBowl.doc in the Doc to Include field.

 

 

The screen will now look like this, click on the Start button.

 

 

17. The screen below will appear and lists the location of the file that you will need to attach to your outgoing email. Once you click the OK button, one of two will happen based on your prior choice above, your email client will open with an email created with the required information to send the file to eBowl (all that you have to do is locate the file and attach to the email and send), or if you access your email through your web browser, you will be taken back to the Send Data to Vendor - click the Close button. You will also come back to this screen once you close your email client.

 

 

You have successfully sent the required information to eBowl.biz.
