Requesting League Download National Data Services

1.To request league download from Nationals, you begin by choosing Services>Nat'l Data Services>Subscribe…. from the main menu.

 

 

2.When you do this one of the following screens with open:

 

 

if the above screen appears, you will need to click in the box next to Subscribe to national data services. When you check the box the following will open, click OK.

 

 

The screen below will open following step 1 or Step 2, depending if you have subscribed to National Data Services before.

 

 

3.Make sure that the screen is set up exactly as it appears above, you will need to make sure that there are checks next to USBC initial data download, Address corrections, and National ID Numbers. Once this is done, click on Send Subscription Changes To National. Bowler TRAC will now create a file and send it to NDS.

 

 

4.When the file has been sent, you will see the following, click on OK.

 

               

       

5.Wait at least 2 hours (it may take up to 24 hours) and then you will be able to download the league data. You will begin by choosing Services>Nat'l Data Services>Receive from National… as seen below.

 

 

6.The below screen will appear (your screen will probably show files that you have received and processed previously). All that you need to do is click on Check for New Files.

 

 

7.Once the file has been received, the last line that you will see in the list should look something like the screen below (with a different File #), click Import File, to import the league and people information into Bowler TRAC.

 

 

8.The following status screen will appear in the bottom left hand portion of your screen.

 

 

Once downloading is complete you will now have your leagues and bowlers including current season. You may receive an error that says that what you are attempting would create a duplicate - click OK - this will tell Bowler TRAC not to process that record and go on to the next record. You may have to click the OK button many times; just continue to do so until the file is processed.
