Updating Software

1.With Bowler TRAC open, click on Help>Update Software from the Main Menu. If you receive an FTP error and cannot connect to the server, make sure you are connected to the internet and try this step again. If you still receive and FTP error contact your center's Tech Support to resolve your Internet connection issues. Then return to this step.

 

 

2.If successful the following screen will open:

 

 

click Connect.

 

3.Once the software update has been downloaded, you will be notified that an Update has been downloaded; you will be asked if you want to install the software click YES. Once this has been processed, Bowler TRAC will close and re-open, you will then be notified that your database needs to update and will be asked if you want to update it now - click YES. The Bowler TRAC backs up the database and notifies you that the database has been backed up - click OK. You are now back in Bowler TRAC and your software has been updated to the newest build.
